Virtual Production, it’s a thing…
Over the past 6 years, I have followed virtual production’s emerging development closely and developed my operating skills in tandem.
The real-time response and the versatility of Unreal Engine to adjust all the different components of a 3D scene to fit the creative is quite mind-blowing. As an operator, I can therefore effectively make changes live in the room or over a call to scenes, animation, and lighting to capture the vision of the creative as closely as required.
I have operated live with renowned director George Miller and and VFX supervisors Andrew Jackson, David Nelson, Chris Godfrey, Rick va de Schootbrugge and Jonathon Dearing.
My experience using the Engine covers pre-vis, post-vis, VR scouting and LED wall productions (ICVFX) creating environments for live camera tracking with actors, and sim-trav 360s (simulated travel backgrounds for vehicles).
